Border Guards start to restore control on Ukraine-Russia border

The head of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Viktor Nazarenko has reported to the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko that border guard servicemen start to get the control back on problematic parts of Ukraine – Russian border.

Viktor Nazarenko said that in order to fulfill the president peace plan State Border Guard Service is making the steps to restore state border on the uncontrolled areas.

He informed the president about his meeting on October 30 with the head of Border Guard Service of Russian Federation. As a result of the meeting they signed protocol about joint control at border checkpoint Kuybysheve – Dyakovo and determined the mechanism of joint control at border checkpoints Donetsk – Izvarine and Matveev Kurgan – Uspenka.

The president requested to make “road map” with date when Ukrainian control over border checkpoints will be restored and custom control renewed.

The head of Ukraine also requested from the head of State Border Guard Service to prepare report before November 4 about mobile checkpoints on the front line in order to stop terrorists from coming to Ukraine. Reported at president.gov.ua.

The National Security and defense Council of Ukraine has reported that today at about 7 am so-called Russian humanitarian aid convoy started to move to Ukrainian territory. There were 76 vehicles and 147 people who crossed the border.

Ukrainian Border Guard Servicemen who work on the border checkpoints there could only do visual control of the trucks and cargo. But the cargo didn’t go via custom control as there was no information about it from the Russian side.

The representatives of the International Committee of Red Cross didn’t take part in transportation of the cargo. Russian side broke international and Ukrainian laws regarding transportation of humanitarian aid. According to information that Ukrainian authorities have most of the cargo is for terrorist groups as they don’t have enough supply Part of the food cargo Russians plan to give to local in front of TV cameras during fake elections on November 2. Yesterday pro-Russian terrorists posted a video from Donetsk, Ukraine. In this video Russian movie actor Mikhail Porechenkov is shooting at the positions of Ukrainian Army at Donetsk Airport. He is shooting just for fun using heavy machine gun “Utyos”. At the same time he had a helmet with “PRESS” sign on it and giving an interview to Russian TV channel. Ukrainian Police and Security Service already started criminal case against Russian actor and are going to put him on Interpol wanted list. Porechenkov can be imprisoned for 15 years according to Ukrainian Criminal Code. He became famous in Russia after playing a role of secret agent of Russian National Security Agency in a soap opera and after war movies based on Russia – Chechnya war.

OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatovic has commented such behavior as disgraceful and dangerous abuse of “PRESS” insignia.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said that the criminal case has been started against Russian actor Mikhail Porechenkov according to Article 260, part 4 of Ukrainian Criminal Code.

Mikhail Porechenkov came to Donetsk together with armed terrorist group and personally took part in shooting at Ukrainian Army units using machine gun. According to Criminal Code of Ukraine people get imprisoned for 7-12 years for such crimes.

The Minister A.Avakov said that today the investigators will talk to the court judge and Porechenkov will be put on wanted list and arrested. He said that they will use Interpol if needed. The investigators are sure that Interpol will support this and Porechenkov will not be able to travel around the world outside Russian Federation and that he will be delivered to Ukraine.

The Security Service of Ukraine also started criminal case against Russian Federation citizen Mikhail Porechenkov according to Article 283-3 of Criminal Code of Ukraine for participating in terrorist activities together with DPR (Donetsk People Republic) which is recognized as terrorist organization in Ukraine. Article 258-3. Creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization

1. Creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization, the leadership of a group or organization or participation in, as well as organizational or other support to the creation or activity of a terrorist group or terrorist organization, – shall be punishable by imprisonment for a term of eight to fifteen years.

2. A person other than an organizer and leader of a terrorist group or terrorist organization, who voluntarily reported to law enforcement bodies about corresponding terrorist activities, contributed to its termination or disclosure of crimes committed in connection with the establishment or actions of such group or organization, shall be exempted from criminal liability for an act referred to in part one of this Article if his/her actions do not constitute another crime.

Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has reported that on October 29 in Girnik city (Donetsk Region) they have arrested a group of 3 terrorists who took part in military actions on the side of DPR terrorist organization and they had a lot of ammunition with them.

The leader of the group in his house had 4 grenade launchers RPG-26, RShG-2, MPO, 7 grenades F-1, 9 grenades for anti-tank grenade launchers TBG, PG7C, PG7M, bullets for machine gun, detonators, radio station and almost 5 thousands bullets caliber 5.45 and 7.62 mm.

SSU found out that terrorists planned to give that weapon to the new group of terrorists who were going to attack Ukrainian military units and to scare local population.

Terrorist group neutralized in Mariupol

Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has neutralized saboteur group that planned terrorist attacks in Mariupol using weapon and explosives

On October 25 2014 counterintelligence of SSU arrested the leader of that group who was local.

Saboteurs coordinated their activities with the leaders of terrorist group “Vostok”. Starting from July till September the active members of this criminal group were training near Donetsk at “Vostok” and got weapon and instructions from their leaders.

Terrorists were collecting information about location of military vehicles, Ukrainian Army checkpoints, number of soldiers and information about their weapon, they were monitoring information about plans for patriotic events in the city.

The members of the terrorist group planned explosions near administrative buildings in Mariupol and places with a lot of people, their task was to destabilize the situation in the city.

Terrorists had maps of Donetsk Region and Mariupol with locations of Ukrainian Army checkpoints marked on them, place where previous attacks were made in June. There were also marks of places where they planned terrorists attacks coordinated with the leaders of DPR (Donetsk People Republic) and their foreign curators.

When they were arrested, police found grenade launcher RPG-26, machine gun AKS-74, a lot of bullets, grenades RDG-5, explosives, and Russian military uniform.

Security Service of Ukraine arrested Russian citizen

Security Service of Ukraine intelligence found and arrested a terrorist who belongs to DPR group. His name is Zhadan Stanislav, born 1991, Russian Federation citizen, who lives in Millerovo city in Russia.

This person illegally crossed the border with Ukraine at “Izvarine” border control checkpoint, it is controlled by pro-Russian terrorists right now and he was trying to get to Donetsk to join DPR terrorist group.

On October 26 of this year this Russian was arrested.

The terrorist arrived to Ukraine to take part in terrorist activity of DPR (Donetsk People Republic). He said that in October he got in touch with one of the leaders of DPR who offered him to join their illegal armed group and promised to give weapon and pay 1000 Rubles per day (that’s about 23 USD).

Russia is sending more trucks of “humanitarian” aid to Lugansk and Donetsk

The Ministry of the Russian Federation for Affairs for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters says that they are sending another “humanitarian” aid convoy to Ukraine, to Donetsk and Lugansk Regions controlled by pro-Russian terrorists and Russian Army units. They claim that together with the leaders of terrorist groups of LPR and DPR they made a list of items needed for them. In total they plan to send a convoy of 100 trucks with 1000 tons of goods, they say that there will be food, petrol, construction materials, medicine and other things needed for winter period. The information was posted at the Russian Ministry website here.

This is already the 4th convoy of white trucks that Russia is sending to Ukraine breaking international laws about humanitarian aid. Nobody knows what is really inside those trucks. International Red Cross or Ukrainian customs were not allowed to inspect all the trucks last time, so Red Cross is not related to what Russia is doing. It has been reported before that with the food Russia sent military supply to the terrorists and they used the trucks to get industrial equipment out of the factories controlled by pro-Russian forces.

Government will pay for the loans of killed Ukrainian soldiers

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports that Ukrainian Goverment will pay for the loans of soldiers who got killed during Anti-Terrorist operation. So if the family lives in apartment that they bought taking credit from a bank, that will be covered. This will be done according the the law “About social and legal protection of militaries and their families”. The Goverment has aproved the changes in the law to make that possible during the meeting on October 24. This information was published at Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on their website here

The National Security and defense Council of Ukraine has reported that today in the morning pro-Russian terrorists were shelling Ukrainian Army positions at the direction of Mariupol city using mortars and tanks, on the line between Pavlopil and Gnutove villages, that is only about 40km from Mariupol. Ukrainian Army units suppressed the enemy fire and destroyed one Russian tank of terrorists. This Parliament election were very important in Ukraine and showed real people support of changes in the country and great will for the pro-European direction of the development of the state. To get to the Parliament the Party needs to get at least 5% of the votes and according to exit-poles only one pro-Russian political party is getting through that barrier with 7% of votes. 1st time in the history of Ukraine Communist party will not be part of Ukrainian Parliament. Communists and the party of the previous president hiding in Russia were the powers that helped Putin to trigger the war in some areas on the East of Ukraine like Lugansk and Donetsk.

Exit-polls has reported this information. President Petro Poroshenko party “Solydarnist” is getting 23.1%.The party of Prime Minister of Ukraine A.Yatsenyuk “Narodnyy Front” is getting 21.2%. The party of Lviv City Mayor Sadovoy “Samopomich” gets 13.4%. The pro-Russian “Opposition Block” that has mostly deputies who were in ex-president Yanukovich party also get to Parliament with 7.6%. “Radical Party” of Oleh Lyashko gets 6.4%. “Svoboda” – 6.3% and Yulia Tymoshenko (ex-prime minister imprisoned by ex-president Yanukovich) gets 5.5% with her party “Batkivshchyna“. President Petro Poroshenko votes in 2014 Parliament elections in Ukraine

The activity of voters in general in Ukraine was almost same as during last Parliament elections and traditionally it was not so high like during presidential elections. Only 52.42% of those who have a right to vote participated in the Parliament elections on October 26 2014. The most active were people in the Western Part of Ukraine. In Liviv Region 70% came to vote. Many people of Lugansk and Donetsk Regions couldn’t vote as part of their regions are under pro-Russian terrorists occupation right now and it was not possible to do anything there. Terrorists were also trying to scare people, so only 32.87% of those who could vote in Lugansk Region came to election offices.You can read more about voters activity at Central Election Commission website Many refugees from Lugansk and Donetsk could also vote anywhere in Ukraine as they have a right to change the vote place depending where they live now. People in Crimea which is occupied by Russian Federation since the end of February 2014 also couldn’t take part in the Parliament election.

It looks like political party “Svoboda” may not get enough votes to get to the Parliament. By 2:55 pm on October 27 2014 Central Election Commission has processed 55.67% of protocols and published the diagram with results of Ukraine Parliament elections of 2014. For now “Svoboda” got 4.69% of votes and they need at least 5%. According to exit-polls they got 6.3%, but this number may be not accurate.

By 6:31 pm on October 29 2014 Central Election Commission has processed 99.23% of protocols and this is the final results of Parliament Elections in Ukraine in 2014. Below you can see the diagram with six political parties that will be present in Ukrainian Parliament. Political party of Aseniy Yatsenyuk who is Prime Minister of Ukraine now got more votes than any other party. President Petro Poroshenko party has almost same amount of votes.

Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) arrested Russian Federation citizen near Kiev who came to Ukraine from Moscow. Grechishkin Mykola Vasylyovich is an officer of Russian Army, he is ex-marine, and he was recruited by FSB (Federal Security Service of Russian Federation). Part of his legend was that he is an editor of Russian Internet media “Russian News”.

When SSU captured him they found RPG-26 “Aglen” (a disposable anti-tank rocket launcher) made by Russia, grenade and bullets and Russian Federation passport, and also several IDs at different names, ID of assistant of deputy of Russian Federation Parliament, ID of deputy editor of “Russian News” Internet media.

He also head business cards of highly ranked officers of Ministry of Defense of Russian Federation and Federal Migration Service of RF.

Grechishkin has been on the territory of Ukraine since January and has broken immigration rules of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) he was performing tasks of FSB of Russian Federation and he coordinated activity of the leaders of illegal armed groups and saboteur groups of so-called “Lugansk People Republic” (LPR) and “Donetsk People Republic” (DPR), he was coordinating the supply of resources for them. He made, organized and coordinated contacts with the leaders of terrorist organizations of LPR and DPR

Via his curators from Moscow he was coordinating the supply to the territory of Ukraine controlled by terrorists of military equipment (armored cars “Tiger”), mercenaries (including 130 tank crewmen from Sverdlovsk city, volunteers from radical para-military Cossack groups from Russian Federation) who took part in military activities against Ukrainian forces of Anti-Terrorist Operation.

This man was calling himself General of FSB, organized and coordinated transportation of bodies of Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine to Russia. He committed international crimes and he also made it more difficult to identified the bodies at the time when wives and mothers of Russian soldiers were calling to SSU hotline looking for their husbands and sons.

SSU promise to help everybody who are looking for their relatives.

Security Service of Ukraine is publishing the photos of this person and address to Russian citizens who are looking for their relatives. Information about this person will help to find out where the bodies of Russian soldiers were sent to, why they were not identified and why Russia is not investigating how they died.
